Come to baby auditions and spend hours waiting in a crowd of screaming, crying, diaper-messing, thumb sucking, chubby-cheeked little monsters! What do you mean that doesn't sound like fun? But seriously, baby auditions aren't really always going to be packed with fussy little potential child stars, they can be rewarding and fun for you and your baby. It can be nice to meet other parents with similar aspirations for their child, and your baby can make many new friends!
Make sure, of course, that you are prepared for every eventuality when you go to them, have a checklist of things to be sure and bring, like (quiet) toys, pampers and wipes, blanket, a change of clothes, hat, bottles with juice or milk, and of course, a resume and head shot. Baby auditions can take a while, that's why you should make every effort to be prepared to be there for the long haul.
Look for baby auditions anywhere you would look for adult auditions. Almost every industry that seeks grown-ups acting or modeling talent will also hold baby auditions for various products made for babies and the people that have them. You can never tell what kinds of possibilities could be opened up in the future by just bringing Jr. in for a couple of baby auditions.
